From dream comes truth
And truth I cannot believe,
How lucky I am
That you woke up beside me.
A Gentle Glance At The Gruesome
A lover, A writer and an indecent adult. art imitating life. a walk through the life of a young woman in Melbourne, Australia.
From dream comes truth
And truth I cannot believe,
How lucky I am
That you woke up beside me.
In a sea
Of voyagers lost,
You call out.
I follow your voice,
Homeward.
The seas are all at once,
Calm.
There’s this place I know, far from here. We could go? I can take you there, just you and me. Only we can go.
It’s green, it’s violet, it’s yellow, it’s vermilion, it’s colours I cannot name. I’ve dreamt these colours. Haven’t you? Somehow I’ve always known them.
There’s so much light here, but it’s not too bright. Hold my hand, it feels better that way. This way, I want to show you something. I think you’ve seen it before.
Have you ever seen something so beautiful? Do you recognise it now? I knew you would. Whenever you are you feeling lost I’ll take you here. A place only we can go.

Our paths crossed seamlessly
And we strolled into each other lives
Effortlessly.
We have grown in affections
And everyday since
I wonder,
How did one get so lucky?
What unknown power
Struck me?
How did the stars know to aline?
When did the earth, sun and moon know
When to pull each tide,
That washed me upon your shore.
Were we ever strangers?
Have I met you before?
What did our mouths do,
Before we spoke to one another?
Did our hearts lay dormant,
Just waiting for the other?
I am not sure which divine creature
I am to address my thanks to.
So I yell beyond the sea,
To the horizon
Because I know nothing of it.
Just as i know nothing of, how one got so lucky.
